The Housemaid Nude Scene: How the Uniform Comes Off

Editör 8 min read
The Housemaid Nude Scene

Key takeaways

  • The scene starts with a stuck zipper and ends with both of them on the floor.
  • Every layer comes off slow, in front of him, on purpose, with running commentary.
  • The tile is cold, the radiator is not, and the pacing flips halfway through.

How the Uniform Comes Off

It starts the way these things always start — with something small and stupid. Mira's got the mop bucket in one hand and a smudge of lemon polish on her jaw, and the zipper on that grey housekeeping dress has been fighting her since the laundry room. She's twenty-six, built solid, the kind of solid that makes the cheap uniform look like a dare. Dell is thirty-four and he's supposed to be upstairs on a call, but he's not upstairs, he's leaning on the kitchen doorframe with his sleeves shoved to the elbow and a beer he stopped drinking twenty minutes ago.

"That thing's busted," he says. Not a question.

"It's been busted since Tuesday." She twists her arm back again, gets nothing but a grunt out of the pull tab. "You gonna fix it or just stand there watching me lose my mind?"

He sets the bottle down and comes over, and the whole room gets tighter. His fingers find the tab, work it once, twice, and then just — stop. He doesn't pull. He holds it. She can feel the heat of his knuckles through the cotton at her spine, and neither of them says a word about it. The radiator ticks. Somewhere out in the hall the dryer is throwing a fit against the wall.

"I could just cut it off," she says, and her voice comes out lower than she meant it to.

"Don't cut it." He pulls, slow, and the zipper gives with a sound like a rip down the middle of the room. The dress sags off one shoulder. Cool air hits her back and she doesn't fix it. Doesn't even flinch. She just turns around, lets him see the whole front of her, and says, "Well. Now you gotta finish what you started."

The Housemaid Nude Scene, Beat by Beat

She takes it off herself, in the end, and she takes her damn time about it. First the shoulders, shrugged out one at a time while she watches his eyes track the fabric down. The dress pools at her hips and she hooks her thumbs in and rolls it, and it drops to the tile in a grey puddle. Underneath she's got a plain black bra that's seen better days and a pair of work shorts that are honestly not much of anything. Dell's jaw does something complicated. He hasn't moved from where he's standing, but his hands have curled into fists at his sides, the way a man does when he's decided not to grab yet.

"You gonna make me do all the work?" she says.

"I'm counting."

"Counting what?"

"How long I can hold out."

She laughs at that, short and mean, and pops the button on the shorts. They're off in one shove, kicked across the floor into the mop water, and now it's just her — bra, underwear, the polish smudge still on her jaw, one sock. She reaches back and unhooks the bra without any ceremony at all, lets it fall, and her tits settle and swing with the motion and Dell makes a low noise in his throat like he's been punched somewhere soft. She's got a mole under her left breast and a pale scar across her hip from a bike wreck at nineteen, and she doesn't hide either one. She hooks her thumbs in the underwear and takes those down too, bending at the waist to do it, and then she's bare in a kitchen with a cold floor under her feet and a man looking at her like she's the last meal on earth.

"There," she says. "Now you can stop counting."

He crosses the room in three steps. His hands land on her waist, palms rough from the yard work, and he walks her backward until her ass hits the counter edge and the whole thing rattles. The kiss is not polite. It's teeth and lemon polish and the taste of beer, and she gets a fist in his shirt and yanks him in closer, hooking one bare leg around the back of his knee. His hand slides down her stomach, flat and warm, and then lower, and she breaks the kiss just to breathe against his cheek and say, "Yeah — right there, don't get cute about it." He doesn't get cute. He gets two fingers in her and his thumb doing slow circles and her head drops back against the cabinet with a crack and she doesn't care about the crack.

"Tile or counter?" he asks against her throat.

"Tile. Counter's got the knives on it."

He drops. Pulls her down with him, and the floor is a shock of cold on her back and her ass and the radiator is going full blast two feet away, so she's freezing and sweating at the same time, which is somehow the best part. He gets his mouth between her legs and takes his time the way he said he would, and she plants a heel on his shoulder blade and grinds up into it and lets the noise out — not the polite kind, the real kind, the kind the neighbors hear through an open window. "Christ, Dell — okay, okay, that's — quit teasing me, I'm gonna come if you keep doing that."

"So come."

She does, and it's not graceful, it's a whole-body clench and a heel digging into his back and a string of nonsense and a hand slapped flat on the tile. Then he's up and over her, fumbling his belt one-handed while she pushes her hair out of her face and gets a hand on his hip to hurry him along. The condom comes out of his back pocket, because of course it does, and she takes it off him and rolls it on herself, slow, watching his stomach jump. Then he's pushing in and she's got both hands on the backs of his arms and her eyes rolled half shut and the first few strokes are clumsy until they find the rhythm and then it's just tile and breath and the wet sound of it and his forehead dropped to hers.

"Look at me," she says, and he does. "There you go. Keep looking at me."

It goes quick after that, because neither of them has any patience left. She comes a second time with her nails in his shoulders and her mouth open and nothing coming out, and he follows her about four strokes later with his face buried in her neck and her name said like a swear word.

Aftermath on the Kitchen Tile

They lie there a minute. The radiator ticks. The dryer thumps. Her elbow's in the mop water and she's gonna have to redo the whole floor and she cannot bring herself to care.

"You know," Dell says into her shoulder, still not lifting his head, "the zipper's still busted."

"Yeah." She pats his back, twice, flat and lazy. "Fix it before Thursday and I'll let you take it off me again."

He laughs, rolls off her, and hands her the sock she lost somewhere in the middle of all this.

How long does the scene run?

Long on purpose. The undress alone is drawn out over several beats, and the full scene runs past the point where most writers would cut away.

Is the undress part of the sex or separate from it?

It's the whole engine of it. She takes every layer off herself and makes him watch, and the tension is in the slowness, not the speed.

Where does the scene physically take place?

A kitchen — first braced against the counter, then down on the tile floor, with a hot radiator two feet away doing most of the atmosphere work.
